OPPORTUNITIES

By registering with an OWFL club as a player, our athletes have tremendous opportunities to play more lacrosse and take their game to the next level by trying out for Ontario Summer Games (bi-annually) and Team Ontario (annual) programs.

Many former and current OWFL players have also represented Ontario, their local club, and our league by making Team Canada (U20, Senior and Sixes).

Ontario Summer Games

Held bi-annually, the Ontario Summer Games have incorporated Women's Field Lacrosse for many years. The last tournament was held for U17 players in London in August 2024. The next Ontario Summer Games will take place in August 2026.
